Pai Skincare has arrived NZ!
Pai understands sensitive skin, it’s a gentle range that nourishes, hydrates and keeps your skin feeling clean. And, I’m not just saying that because it’s their pitch line- I say that from my own experience.
There is a reason I have kept the range in my routine and that is because it truly is beautiful. I’ve already talked about the range with my sister (who has sensitive skin and is vegan! Yes, these products are vegan friendly!) Yay!
Keep reading to get the low down on each product and if this range could be for you 🙂
WHY I LOVE IT
Its super gentle, creamy and hydrating. From the moment I first used the cleanser, I knew that this product was for me.
My pet hate is a cleanser that strips your skin of it’s natural oils. I have oily skin but the last thing I want is a harsh cleanser that will clean my skin until it is stripped of it’s first layer :S
Note, I have always double cleansed, so I initially wash my face with oil to remove any stubborn makeup and then I follow with the Pai Hydrating cleanser to throughly wash my face and ensure all makeup is removed. If you don’t already- I highly recommend double cleansing! Especially if you wear makeup, I never feel like one cleanse is enough to remove all the toxins from the day.
This system works for me and it keeps my skin clear, hydrated and clean.
WHY I LOVE IT
I only exfoliate once or twice a week, I don’t want to over exfoliate so I have only used this a handful of times however I love the texture, its not too gritty, in the nature of exfoliating- this is a pretty gentle product. Which is great!
The little bit of difference with the brightening exfoliator compared to other exfoliators I’ve used is that they ask you to initially apply the product on dry skin and delicately massage in with circular motions, then add water to create a foam consistency.
I quite like this method, you feel like your really giving your skin a thorough clean.
WHY I LOVE IT
As fas as day creams go, this one is a little heavier then most. Personally, I don’t mind that. I love the feeling of hydrated skin. It still manages to balance out oils levels and last under your makeup all day.
However, you do need to massage the cream quite well into your skin to ensure that it absorbs rather than sits on top of your skin. Because it is a little thicker then your normal day cream, it requires a more thorough application then most. Once you have massaged the cream into your skin, the results are great, my skin was hydrated, oil levels were balanced and my skin had no reactions or break outs. It was just a beautiful, soft day cream that lasted all day.
I have oily skin, so obviously my thoughts on this range would vary to how it could react for you. Personally I loved this range and would definitely repurchase if I saw it on the shelf.
